How do you add the top menu pages, such as ‘Home’ and ‘About’?

You just have to go to the Page Elements of your blog and then edit the links in the NAV area..
I’m curious about how to add the top menu pages as well. I can’t find a way through blogger and I’m not fluent enough in code to decipher it. Thanks!
